Year 4 Dragon Eyes Art
Home Learning Gallery Summer Term
In Year 4 we have just completed an Art topic on Dragon Eyes to link with our English work on How to Train Your Dragon. We started by looking at some famous artwork featuring eyes and tried our best to recreate them in pencil and pen.
Then we experimented with drawing dragon eyes, focussing on shape, pattern and texture.
We then sculpted our eyes in clay, using slip to add on the detail. Finally, we painted the eyes in metallic paints to create a shiny finish.
